Landscape Architect/Project Manager

We are seeking talented Landscape Architects/Project Managers with a minimum of 10 years' experience to join our studio. Our practice encompasses all aspects of Landscape Architecture and Site Planning with foremost experience in luxury Hotel/Resort Planning and Design, Master Planning, Mixed-Use and Community Development, and Estate Residential Design. In addition to a broad portfolio of work within California, the firm and staff has extensive project experience throughout the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Applicants should be licensed landscape architects with experience managing all aspects of landscape architecture, working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and working collaboratively as well as independently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university

• At least 10 years’ experience working in a Landscape Architecture firm

• Successful management of complex projects and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team

• Ability to develop design ideas and solutions from concept through construction

• Excellent hand and computer graphic skills

• Technical knowledge and ability to produce Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents, including: site details, materials selection, grading, and planting

• Perform construction observation

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication

• Successful management of complex projects and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team

• Self-motivation with the ability to manage and mentor team members as well as work individually

• Problem Solving and Organizational Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign & Photoshop) and Microsoft Office programs

Landscape Drafter

We are seeking candidates for the position of Landscape Draftsperson to join our Planning and Landscape Architectural team. Our practice encompasses all aspects of Landscape Architecture and Site Planning with foremost experience in luxury Hotel/Resort Planning and Design, Master Planning, Mixed-Use and Community Development, and Estate Residential Design. In addition to a broad portfolio of work within California, the firm and staff has extensive project experience throughout the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe.

You will work with and support senior staff in the design and documentation of both domestic and international projects. You will create technical drawings, landscape plans and details. You will be responsible for base map changes, redline corrections etc. You will work with a team to create the final Design Development drawing sets and Construction Documentation drawing sets.

Qualifications:

• Expert AutoCAD skills

• At least 2 years’ experience drafting for a Landscape Architect

• Understanding of the design process

• Knowledge and ability to produce site details, material layout, and planting

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction

• Exceptional time management skills

• Understanding of drafting in both imperial and metric

• Proficiency in Land F/X, Adobe suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and Microsoft programs.

• Rhino Rendering a plus
